Each season Jimmy Choo designer purses feature fashion-forward designs and lust-worthy designer handbag trends that add immediate elegance to any woman’s outfit.
The handbag designers of the house of Jimmy Choo use the best materials—exotic skins, supple leathers, and smooth suede—when constructing their expensive designer handbag creations.
If your Jimmy Choo purses or handbag needs repairing, here’s how to clean your expensive Jimmy Choo handbag using common household products in the comfort of your home.
Things you’ll need to clean your Jimmy Choo designer purse or handbag:
Suede eraser
Cheesecloth
Suede stone
Small white cloth
Pre-moistened leather wipes
Vinegar
Ammonia-based window cleaner
- To add shine to a Jimmy Choo designer purse, spray an ammonia-based window cleaner on a small cloth. Wipe purse clean.
- Clean minor stains with a pre-moistened leather wipe. Rub the stain with a small piece of cheesecloth or a white cloth.
- Apply a suede stone or a suede erase to the nap of your suede designer handbag to clean. Using a back and forth motion, gently rub the suede materials to release any dirt.
- Clean surface canvas stains on your designer purse with a small bristled brush. Never use water to clean your canvas Jimmy Choo designer purses.
- Clean your patent leather purses with white vinegar and water. Combine 2 tablespoons of white vinegar with 1 cup of water. To remove stains, dab the solution on the surface of the designer handbag. Wipe the handbag clean with a white cloth to remove any vinegar smell from the designer handbag.

the lining of my Jimmy Choo:s hand bag is ruined. I need to have it replaced.
Where to go and whom should I speak to?
I am in London UK. Please answer me.
Thank you
Thanks for your question Miss Mishriki.
Because I am US based, I cannot recommend a specific repair shop in the UK, however here are a few tips you can use to get your bag repaired.
If your lining is ruined you can do three things: first you can take the bag to an authorized Jimmy Choo retailer or Jimmy Choo boutique and ask for a recommendation for a quality repair shop.
Or visit Bag Borrow or Steal for their Professional Handbag Cleaning and Handbag Repair Service here. According to their website you can repair their handbag in three steps: 1 )Print and complete their Cleaning & Repair Request Form.
2)Print out the pre-paid shipping label and send your handbag to us. (Send no money!) It costs $80 to repair the inside lining
3) Receive and enjoy your refurbished handbag in usually just 7 to 9 weeks. (Return Shipping is Free!)
If you are more of a do-it-yourself kind of girl, you can replace the lining yourself. Here are two links to articles from The Guardian to guide you:Replace a bag lining and Repair ripped bag lining.
Lastly, I would ask my local dry cleaner, shoe repair shop or furrier for their recommendations on who can repair the lining and how much it would cost. Above all, you should only work with a reputable repair shop that can guarantee that when they repair your lining, it will not damage the outer skin of the bag.
Let me know if these suggestions work! Best wishes – Team Bag Vanity.
